Marian "Wayne" Hitch - KM4BYH

Long time WGARS member Wayne Hitch suddenly passed away on November 6th, 2025. 

Wayne had a variety of interests, besides amateur radio, Wayne enjoyed riding motorcycles, off-roading, and shooting.  But his real passion was his family, wife Debbie, son Matt, his granddaughter Charlotte as well as brother, Larry Hitch (Carole); nephews, David Hitch and Jonathan Hitch (Anna); and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.

Wayne was an active member of the West Georgia Amateur Radio Society, participating in a variety of activities, even serving as club President for several years.

Wayne was a generous and supportive friend to everyone who knew him and will be missed.
