Current Balloon Flight Tracking

We are currently flying a "Pico Balloon". Unlike a typical weather balloon payload, the Pico Balloon flies at a "cruising" altitude in an effort to circumnavigate the globe. Our balloon is flying a "Skytracker", which sends location information every 10 minutes on the "20 meter" band, around 14.10 mhz. Stations around the world listen for transmissions on this frequency and log them to a central database which can be accessed via the internet. You can monitor its progress at this site. December 25th Update: The balloon has not checked in since December 23rd, but is flying in an area with few receiving stations and the tracking system seems to be having some issues, so we're optimistic we'll be hearing from Pico II soon.
