Winter Field Day will be held January 27th and 28th, 2024 at Little Tallapoosa Park Equestrian Campground located at 1930 Hwy 113 N., Carrollton, GA.
Winter Field Day is promoted as an Emergency exercise designed to test our ability to operate portable emergency communications in Winter. However, it's also an opportunity to practice our hobby, improve our skills, and enjoy some time with fellow hobbyists.
Setup begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday January 27, we'll tear-down when we run out of motivation or 2:00PM Sunday, whichever comes first!
We need people to sign up to help with resources, including setup, tear-down, food, tables, etc. WGARS members should have received an email with a link to a sign-up sheet. If you didn't receive one, or are a non-member wishing to contribute, contact John Playford via
