Fox Hunt / SET 2016

WGARS and Carroll ARES are joining forces to hold a Simulated Emergency Test and Fox Hunt. This year's exercise simulates an Emergency Locator Transmitter search. The transmitter could be a false alarm, a downed aircraft, or lost individual.
The event will take place on October 1st at the park at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. All Amateur Radio Operators are welcome to participate. Members should arrive at approximately 9:30-9:45AM. Talk-in will be on the WGARS repeater (W4FWD) on 146.640-131.8. There will be a short briefing, with the search beginning at 10:00.
